Agents in everyday & working life
Account connections & scopes
Also called: connect your account, granting access, no-code permissions
The access you grant when you connect an agent to an account — which service, and what it may do there (read-only, send, pay, delete). It's the no-code version of setting permissions.
This click is the real decision. An agent's power and its risk both come from what you connected it to, so granting the narrowest access that still does the job is the strongest everyday safeguard.
Trusting the app's brand. A reputable app can still ask for far more access than the task needs; read the scope, not the logo.
