TOPIC 06 OF 08
Examples and exemplars
Demonstrate the patternA small example can show the desired structure, level of detail, vocabulary, or quality more clearly than extra instructions. Show both what good looks like and, when helpful, an unacceptable example with the reason it fails.
Good label: ‘Needs human confirmation—date differs across sources.’ Avoid: ‘Probably correct.’ Follow this pattern for every disputed fact.
The model may imitate accidental details or errors in your example. Use reviewed examples, label fictional data, and never paste material you lack permission to reuse.
Provide one short reviewed example and name the feature the system should learn from it.
